A Stitch in Time Saves Nine

Very often a piece of clothing gets a little torn by chance. A stitch or two done without delay can mend the tear.  But a delay in doing this, may cause the tear become larger and then it would need a number of stitches to mend it or it would become impossible to mend it at all. This applies in the same way to several sitiations of life. A damage to an article of our daily use can be repaired with just a little effort and expense if it is attented to promptly.
