Union is strength

History tells us that our country become slave because we were not united. Enemy has always taken the advantage of our disunity and weakness. We all know the story of an old man who taught a lesson of unity to his sons by asking them to break the bundle of sticks which was tied with a rope. They could not break it as they were united. So when we are united, none can break us. If we are disunited, everybody can over-power us. But if we stand united we can defeat the enemy. Unity is essential for doing any work. A single person can't carry away a big piece of log. It needs the combined strength of a few person. In this way their united strength can be of much use. So it is rightly said that union is strength.
