Stitch In Time Saves Nine

Very often, a piece of clothing gets torn by chance. A stitch or two done without delay can mend the tear. But a delay in doing this may cause the tear larger and then it would need a number of stitches to mend it or it would become impossible to mend it at all and the piece becomes useless. This also applies to several situation of life. A damage to an article of our daily use can be repaired with just a little effort and expense if it is attended to promptly. If it is neglected or postponed, the refers to a person's  health. A minor ailment can be cured with just one visit to a doctor. If it is neglected, it may develop into a serious trouble requiring prolonged treatment and medical attendance. It is also true of social, national and international problem. If they are attended to promptly, they do not take an ugly shape and do not cause unrest and trouble in the society and the country. Any damage, therefore, to property, or health or individual or society should be attended to immediately, otherwise they will go beyond correction or control. Hence it is always wise to adopt the wise policy of "A Stitch In Time Saves Nine"
